EMT is a subscription based Advanced Life Support (ALS) medical response service dedicated to the greater Constantia area. Our highly qualified paramedics are on duty 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

 

Our service includes the following:

 

Your residential or business property will be fully covered for anyone having a medical emergency whilst on the premises. This includes you, your family, employees, friends, visitors, staff (Gardeners, nannies), contractors (builders, pool cleaners, window washers) on the premises. It includes special functions such as kids birthday parties, weddings etc on the premises.

 

You and your family residing on the residential premises are also covered within our entire operational area as defined in our attached schedule. Basically this covers from Westlake Golf Course to Constantia Neck across to Klassenbosch, down Gabriel road and along the railway line back to Westlake.

 

In the event of a medical emergency, activate EMT immediately and our duty paramedics will immediately respond. We aim to be at our members within 8 minutes of the call. This need not be restricted to serious injuries / emergencies. If there is a minor ailment / injury that you are not 100% happy with, you will be able to contact the paramedic for assistance / advice.

The cost for the response, treatment, disposables and drugs used are all covered by the membership fee.

 

Our paramedics carry a complete ALS jump Bag, Oxygen, Cardiac Monitor, Suction Unit, Splints, Drugs (to ALS specifications, pain meds, etc.)

 

In addition to the emergency response and treatment, the membership includes:

EMT paramedics will coordinate any transportation required for the patient as well as liaise with the patient’s family or doctor if required.

Our paramedic will be available 24hrs a day for Telephonic Advice.

EMT will provide stickers for your telephones to ensure immediate access to the paramedic in the event of an emergency.

 

EMT is also a registered national First Aid Training company and will offer discounts on first aid training to our members or their staff.
